USS DOYLE FFG-39 FAMILY & FRIENDS CRUISE On December 12, 2008 several members and family of TCS went on a Family and Friends Cruise of the USS DOYLE (FFG-39). We were invited on the cruise by the captain of the DOYLE, CDR John Zuzich), when he was our guest speaker at our Bull Session in Jacksonville Beach in February 2008. In fact, this was the second year we were invited. In 2007 the prior captain of the DOYLE had invited us after we had toured his ship in 2007 and several TCS members went on the cruise. We toured the ship while at sea and had a BBQ on the fantail and the helo came out and did some maneuvers. Photos of the cruise are below.
